Regional General Manger – Victorian Leadership Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an exceptional senior leader to join our operations leadership team as Regional General Manager, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. This is a career-defining opportunity to lead a portfolio of 28 Care Communities and growing, driving performance, culture, and most importantly, resident outcomes at scale.

The Opportunity

This role is suited to a seasoned operational executive or a high-performing aged care leader ready to step into a broader strategic remit. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of operational leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and resident-first care.
  • Driving performance across key metrics including clinical outcomes, financial sustainability, workforce engagement, and compliance.
  • Championing the Opal Way, embedding our values and purpose into every aspect of care delivery and team engagement.
  • Enhancing operational efficiency, streamlining processes to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across diverse locations.
  • Partnering with a diverse range of leaders across the business to deliver strategic initiatives and transformation projects that elevate resident care and wellbeing.

About You

You are a dynamic and values-driven leader with:

  • Proven experience overseeing a large multi-site operations in aged care, health, hospitality, or other complex service environments.
  • A track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams, with a strong focus on leadership capability and cultural alignment.
  • Strategic acumen and the ability to translate vision into execution, delivering measurable outcomes across a large portfolio.
  • A deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, risk management, and continuous improvement in a highly regulated sector.
  • The agility to lead through change, with a proactive mindset and a commitment to resident-centred innovation and excellence.
