About the Role

The role would be most suited to someone with excellent attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills and who is a team player. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality assurance to our expert witnesses by reviewing their IME reports, assisting with expert training, liaising with referrers about their legal matters, along with assisting in expanding our presence in the medico-legal market and forging strategic partnerships with colleagues in the legal industry. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth quality reviews of medico-legal reports and associated documentation, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Provide feedback and training to medical experts for medico-legal report writing.
  • Act as a point of contact for law firm/lawyer clients, fostering strong relationships and providing expert guidance on medico-legal matters.
  • Collaborate with both medical and legal professionals on complex cases involving medical issues.
  • Manage communication and coordination between solicitors, medical experts, and other stakeholders.
  • Support business development initiatives and help expand our presence in the medico-legal industry.
  • Represent Themis at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Address and resolve emerging issues or client concerns in a timely and professional manner.

About You

  • Legally qualified with experience in personal injury or compensation law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and high level of attention to detail, with the ability to review and interpret complex medical and legal documents.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Comfortable managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • A strategic mindset and interest in growing the business and brand.
  • Passion for the intersection of law and medicine.
