We offer a menu that boasts a variety of traditional Taiwan favorites, all prepared with traditional techniques in our busy kitchen. Our dedicated and experienced staffs have a passion for sharing our Taiwanese hospitality.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef specializing in Taiwanese cuisine to join our kitchen team.

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Associate qualification, Australian standers.

At least 1 year of relevant experience in industry in similar positio You must be an Australian Citizen/ Permanent resident or have proper working righ

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Plan weekly production, estimating food and material cost, checking and ordering stock as required

Preparing meats, poultry, fish and vegetables, cleaning, cutting, filleting @ Creating seasonal menu.

@ Review and adjust recipes for maintaining the service and meal stander.

@ Managing all section from food preparation to staff training

Preparing a range of meals using specific Taiwanese and technique @ Reviewing and developing menu items to offer seasonal variations

@ Monitor and implement quality control measures to ensure food is prepared efficiently and of consistent quality

@ Delegating tasks to junior staffs, supervising and demonstrating cooking techniques

Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and hygiene standard in the kitchen

  • Supporting the other staff in management of the kitchen including staffing, budget control, liaison with the front staff

O Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health and safety at all times

  • Take responsibility for delivering the highest measures of food production and presentation to customers including managing the live cooking stations

Suggest innovation and commercially viable ideas to improve food quality and introduce new seasonal dishes
