
Compassionate Operational Manager

At EmpowerLink Nursing & Home Care, we are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing and home care services to the community. Our dedicated team provides holistic care that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing across aged care and NDIS services.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operational Manager to oversee the daily running of our services, lead staff, and ensure smooth and efficient operations.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Director and Clinical Manager, the Operational Manager will be responsible for:
Operational Oversight
- Managing day-to-day operations, scheduling, and rostering across nursing, personal care, and home maintenance services.
- Ensuring consistent service delivery aligned with NDIS Practice Standards and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Handling client queries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
People Leadership
- Supervising and supporting Care Managers, team leaders, and frontline staff.
- Coordinating staff performance reviews, inductions, and ongoing training.
- Acting as the first point of contact for operational issues.
Administration & Compliance
- Overseeing admin systems, client records, and staff compliance requirements (NDIS Worker Screening, police checks, first aid, training).
- Ensuring incident reports and progress notes are completed accurately and on time.
- Supporting business audits, quality reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Business Support
- Producing regular reports and KPIs for management.
- Driving efficiency and streamlining processes through technology and systems.
- Supporting business growth by ensuring operational readiness in new regions/services.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in operations management, admin management, or service coordination (aged care, NDIS, community, or healthcare preferred).
- Strong leadership and staff management skills.
- Excellent administrative, rostering, and organisational abilities.
- Sound knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and/or Aged Care Quality Standards.
- High level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office, care management systems, rostering platforms).
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for quality client care and supporting vulnerable communities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in Business, Management, or Health/Community Services (desirable).
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Check.
- Current First Aid & CPR.
- Valid Driver's Licence.
