About the role

We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Retail Sales Attendant to join our team at Cranbourne South General Store. As a casual Sales Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our busy retail store.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Stocking and maintaining store shelves and displays
  • Handling cash and operating the point-of-sale system
  • Providing recommendations and information to customers about our products and services
  • Ensuring the store is clean, tidy and well-presented at all times
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety regulations

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or retail sales role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately
  • Proficiency in cash handling and point-of-sale systems
  • A friendly, helpful and enthusiastic attitude
  • Ability to undertake a physical workload
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Must be available to work weekends as part of the role requirements
