National Trainer – ASKO Appliances: Position Description

The National Trainer role will oversee and be responsible for the creation of all product and sales training related content for ASKO appliances.

This role will work collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop strategies to improve ASKO retail market share via training strategies across all products.

Reporting on activity and results will also be a key aspect of the role. Being a national role, you will be required to travel on a regular basis to connect with our internal and external sales stakeholders.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

· Develop existing training materials to create concise sessions for internal ASKO staff & external retail sales teams

· Align training focus to current and upcoming promotions to ensure retail staff are well prepared to sell featured product or categories

· Work with sales team to create training plans for their major accounts

· Travel within Australia to assist with and conduct training sessions with retail groups and hold training events

· Host regular Teams/Zoom training meetings with retailers/internally

· Build productive relationships with colleagues in head office / factory to build understanding of current & future products to prepare training materials

Experience/Skills required:

· Strong Computer skills are essential, we work with Microsoft Office, SAP & a variety of other programs

· Excellent communication skills (both verbally and written in English)

· Ability to work in a focused and persistent manner towards results

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills

· Attention to detail is essential

· Planning and Organisation skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a variety of stakeholders both internally & externally
