About the Role:
We are on the lookout for a Casual Events Setup / Stores Attendant to join our Facilities and Events teams. If you're someone who loves to be hands-on, thrives in a physically active environment, and takes pride in keeping things organised and running smoothly—this could be your perfect fit.
This role plays a key part in ensuring our event spaces are ready to impress and that our stores and loading dock are operating efficiently and safely.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Assist the Events team with setup and pack down of function rooms
-
Maintain the organisation and cleanliness of stores, fridges, cold rooms, and loading docks
-
Receive and check deliveries, verifying against invoices and reporting any discrepancies
-
Ensure goods are stored safely and correctly, including temperature-sensitive items
-
Distribute stock internally to required areas across the venue
-
Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) practices for stock rotation
-
Operate manual handling equipment (e.g. trolleys, forklifts) safely
-
Maintain WHS standards including proper chemical storage and labelling
About you:

Full availability, particularly on Tuesdays and Fridays
-
Shifts are mostly morning
-
Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting and manual handling tasks
-
A proactive, team player with strong communication skills
-
Excellent attention to detail and time management
-
Positive attitude with a strong focus on safety and efficiency

Experience in stores, warehousing or events setup is highly regarded
