Job Overview
We are seeking a Communications Officer to join our team at Metro North Health, promoting and providing professional communications and engagement services. This role will be part of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Leadership Team, contributing towards achieving health equity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the coordination of events under the A&TSILT Cultural Events across MNH
- Contribute to and support the delivery of consistent communications messages in strategic communication, media, marketing and community and stakeholder engagement activities for the A&TILT, adhering to relevant policies, standards and legislative requirements, and providing feedback on recommendations for improvements to line manager.
- Identify and escalate communication risks to senior officers and assist in the development of risk management strategies.
- Design, develop and produce meaningful, cost-effective and appropriately branded communications and engagement materials.
