About the role:

Telwater is seeking a Procurement Officer to join our team based in Coomera. As a key member of the Purchasing department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our procurement processes.

This is a permanent full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset. Our office hours are 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Duties include:

  • Proactively coordinate with suppliers and production teams to ensure appropriate levels of inventory and raw materials are available in a timely and accurate manner to fulfil production requirements
  • Maintain supplier relationships and communication to track and confirm delivery schedules
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide expert advice on procurement matters.
  • Identifying cost-saving and new product opportunities
  • Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities to facilitate reporting and analysis.

Skills And Experiences

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in a procurement, purchasing, warehouse administration or distribution role. 
  • Good understanding of, and experience in supply chain process and purchasing procedures
  • Meticulous and high attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction but also work autonomously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, driven and able to use initiative
