We're a growing electrical business in Preston's, and we're looking for a driven and energetic salesperson to join our team and help take us to the next level.
This is a versatile role with huge potential. You'll be the first point of contact for new customers, acting as the friendly voice of our business. Your main goal is to turn inbound leads into closed deals, building relationships and guiding clients to the right solution for their homes.
This role is perfect for a "people person" who is happy to hop on the phones, is passionate about customer service, and has a real drive to help close deals.
What You'll Be Doing
- Primary Role: Contacting new inbound leads (phone, email, web) quickly and professionally.
- Nurturing those leads, answering their questions, and building trust.
- Quoting residential projects based on our price books (air conditioning, solar panels, batteries, switchboard upgrades, etc.).
- Visiting clients on-site to finalise details, collect technical information for our install team, and close the sale.
- Maintaining a clean sales pipeline and following up with existing quotes.
The Long-Term Vision
This role starts with residential sales, but we want you to grow with us. The long-term plan will involve:
- Expanding into larger opportunities, like industrial electrical sales.
- Generating new business with builders and developers.
- Working on sales projects across other parts of our business.
About You
- Must-Have: Excellent communication skills you're confident and clear on the phone and in person.
- Must-Have: A current Driver's Licence and your own reliable car.
- You are a natural salesperson, driven by results and customer satisfaction.
- You're organised, self-motivated, and can manage your own time.
- You're eager to learn the technical side of our products (we can teach you).
- Any previous experience in sales, customer service, or the trades/solar industry is a massive advantage.
