About the Company

Delport Group has more than thirty years in financial planning (Delport & Anderson Pty Ltd), more than twenty years in property development & more than ten years providing business & property consulting. Our small team enjoys working together to help make a difference in other people's lives.

Job Purpose & Reporting

In the role as the Company Accountant, you will participate in a wide range of operational tasks, including reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reporting and the ATO Compliance.

The Company Accountant will report directly to the director, Michael Delport

Key Responsibilities

The position is expected to undertake the following duties –

  • Reconciliation of accounts

  • Accounts Payables

  • Accounts Receivables

  • End-to-end payroll processing

  • BAS lodgements for all entities

  • PAYG lodgement

  • Superannuation lodgement

  • Taxable Payments annual report for some projects

  • Monthly financial reports

  • Cash Flow Projection

  • Maintain tenancy schedules

  • Assist with External Tax Accountant in the preparation of year-end Audit process & Tax Returns

About You

  • Previous experience in a similar position.

  • A relevant tertiary qualification

  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures and standards.

  • Experience using financial software (MYOB) and advanced MS Excel skills.

  • Capacity to implement projects and meet deadlines.

  • Well-developed personal organisational and administrative skills

This part-time (10 to 12 hours pw) position is based in Springwood.

Flexible working arrangement, over two or three days (work-life balance).

Supportive team with a great office culture.

Training will be provided by the existing company accountant.
