ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Senior Strategic Account Manager, you will manage strategic relationships with C-suite stakeholders across private hospital networks and corporate buying groups. This is a commercially significant, customer-facing role, focused on expanding enterprise-level relationships and delivering growth across a high-value portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead strategic engagement and negotiations with C-suite stakeholders (CEOs, CFOs, COOs) to deliver long-term partnerships and portfolio growth
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer priorities and business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and portfolio leaders across divisions in the business to co-develop strategic initiatives
  • Identify new opportunities through customer insight and market intelligence, and shape territory strategy accordingly
  • Oversee all commercial processes, including deal structuring, offer modelling, proposal development, and negotiations to deliver strong business outcomes
  • Manage rebate agreements, pricing frameworks, and long-term contracts to maximise account value and simplify customer experience
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior internal and external stakeholders

ABOUT YOU:

You are an accomplished commercial leader with a proven track record in corporate or strategic account management at the enterprise level. You have successfully led C-suite relationships, managed significant portfolios, and driven growth within capital medical devices.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field - required (Postgraduate qualifications a plus)
  • Proven experience in Corporate/Strategic Account Management within capital equipment medical devices - required
  • Established networks with C-suite stakeholders in private hospital networks and/or corporate buying groups, with a track record of managing and expanding these relationships
  • Demonstrated success navigating complex sales processes, structuring commercial deals, and negotiating long-term contracts
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with expertise in pricing, cost analysis, and deal modelling
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office for analysis, reporting, and presentations
  • In-depth knowledge of the Australian private healthcare landscape, including hospital buying groups, private health insurers, and procurement processes
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage at executive levels
  • Highly organised, self-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities across a multi-state territory
  • Entrepreneurial team player, resilient, flexible, and solutions-focused
