The Role

We're seeking suitably qualified 
Supervisors
to lead and mentor our remote field teams on a full-time, permanent basis.

2:2 roster
offers an excellent work-life balance, with opportunities for additional work for those that are interested during the 2 weeks off. You will have the chance to work across various sites, states, and industries, contributing to a rich and diverse work experience.

The position is suited for someone who has a broad set of skills in either mining, plant operation, dewatering and water treatment, as well as knowledge in either mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Your primary responsibility is to lead the team, liaise with clients and manage expectation, provide in-field maintenance, reporting and general site work to ensure safe and successful service delivery.

Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the maintenance, quality and integrity of plant and equipment on site, inc vehicle loading cranes, HR trucks, trailers, and electrical equipment including CCTV, flowmeters, water treatment rigs
  • General Site Setup: Layout of pumps and pipes and other equipment
  • ROV Operation: Monitoring and Piloting of remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) - training will be provided
  • Provide basic maintenance on all equipment
  • Troubleshooting and repairs
  • Working at heights (e.g. tank platforms)
  • Assisting with troubleshooting and maintenance of a diverse array of electric/hydraulic and mechanical systems;
  • Computer based reporting
  • Conducting daily safety inspections

Skills & experience:

  • HR-B Truck licence
  • Rigging (preferable) or Dogging
  • Working Safely at Heights
  • First Aid
  • Construction Induction White Card Demonstrated experience in a Supervisor role in remote and/or heavy industry environments
  • Leadership experience
  • Methodical, persistent, practical approach to trouble shooting and problem solving
  • Value safe work, quality output and client relations
  • Physically fit
  • Electrical or mechanical trade qualification is desired
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise tasks on site
