About You
You'll bring a mix of strategic, political and communication skills, along with a commitment to fair, safe and just markets.
You have:
- A track record of leading campaigns that deliver policy or market change.
- Strong media and communications experience, including acting as a spokesperson on complex issues.
- The ability to think strategically, focusing on what will make the biggest difference for consumers.
- Deep knowledge of political and policy environments, and how to influence them effectively.
- Strong relationship-building skills across government, regulators, media and civil society.
- Leadership skills that build engaged, high-performing teams.
About The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll lead CHOICE's Campaigns & Communications team and be a member of the Executive.
In this role you will:
- Develop and deliver innovative campaigns that achieve real wins for consumers.
- Lead CHOICE's media strategy, shaping public conversations and ensuring our work is visible and influential.
- Represent CHOICE in the media, public forums, parliamentary inquiries and stakeholder engagements.
- Oversee strategies to grow and deepen supporter engagement, mobilising our community of over 230,000 supporters.
- Align advocacy and communications with CHOICE's overall strategy, ensuring maximum impact across campaigns, testing, and content.
- Lead and develop a skilled team across campaigns, media, policy, and stakeholder engagement.
- This is a high-profile leadership position that offers the chance to make a tangible difference for Australians every day.
