About the role/s

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Cornerstone Advisory as a full-time intermediate Accountant. Working in our office in Caringbah, NSW. You will play a crucial role in providing tax and accounting services to our diverse client base. We are currently recruiting an intermediate accountant.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and lodging tax returns for individuals, small businesses, trusts and corporations
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial statements
  • Advising clients on financial reporting and compliance requirements
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards
  • Liaison with statutory bodies on behalf of clients (ATO, ASIC etc)

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor of Accounting, Business or equivalent qualifications or studying towards these qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Planning to study or studying CA qualification
  • Intermediate technical skills in taxation and financial reporting
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in taxation and financial reporting
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service
  • Confident in using accounting software and technology
  • Current NSW drivers licence and own transport
  • Australian work authorisation required at time of application
