Integrum Advisory is a public accounting practice that assists individuals, small to medium businesses, trusts and SMSFs with their tax and accounting affairs.

We're looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join our team in a full-time, work-from-home role. You'll work closely with the Principal Partner and gain valuable hands-on experience and mentoring. A laptop is provided, and the salary package is negotiable based on experience. Immediate start available.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, BAS / IAS, payroll tax and FBT returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSF's
  • Assist with managing a portfolio of clients and building strong, long term client relationships
  • Manage workflow and deliver work efficiently and accurately
  • Identify and resolve tax compliance issues proactively
  • Assist with tax planning and business advice to clients

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm
  • Proficient in Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks (experience with Class Super desirable)
  • Completed accounting degree or similar qualification
  • CPA or CA qualification is desirable
  • Strong ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be based in Sydney with full Australian work rights
