We are a modern well-equipped workshop in Bentleigh East with years of experience in the area, with a well-established client base. We work on all makes and models but primarily service and repair late model vehicles.

We are looking for a light vehicle mechanic/technician for a fast-paced environment. Qualified light vehicle mechanic preferred but all enthusiastic applicants with hands on experience in mechanics are encouraged to apply. Wide range of skill levels will be considered for the position. LVT license advantageous.

Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Qualities required

  • Experience in mechanical work and vehicle servicing
  • Current driver's licence
  • Reliable, enthusiastic and strong work ethic
  • Willing to work after hours, weekends and call out rosters. Flexible fulltime hours across 7 days can be negotiated with the suitable candidates.
  • Team player with a solid work ethic
  • Able to work fast, deliver service on timely manner, and be onsite within required time
  • Positive and can-do attitude
  • Punctual, professional roadside service with a focus on personalised customer service
  • Time management and task prioritising to keep work flowing within the allocated schedule

Job duties

  • Mechanical tasks such as vehicle servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
  • Evaluation and road testing of vehicles
  • Roadside assistance
  • Carry out general workshop duties as directed
  • Recognising faults in vehicles
