Property Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced Property Lawyer to join our Private Practice client's legal team, specialising in property and commercial leasing matters. The role will focus on advising clients on all aspects of property transactions, with an emphasis on lease negotiations, drafting, and administration.

You will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on commercial and residential leasing agreements, managing lease documentation, and supporting clients through the lifecycle of property transactions. The position also involves reviewing and negotiating contracts, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance with relevant property legislation and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Autonomously manage property matters, with a high level of independence
Advise clients on property and commercial leasing matters, including drafting, negotiation, and review of lease agreements
Manage lease administration and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
Review and negotiate property contracts, amendments, and related legal documents
Provide practical legal advice to internal stakeholders and external clients to support property transactions
Assist in resolving property-related disputes and issues, liaising with relevant parties as required
Skills and Experience:
Qualified lawyer with admitted practice in New South Wales
Proven experience in property law, with a strong focus on commercial and residential leasing
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Sound knowledge of relevant property legislation, regulations, and compliance requirements
Ability to manage matters independently while maintaining attention to detail and high professional standards
