Qualifications & experience

  • Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing.
  • Previous industry experience is essential.
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence
  • Police check will be required for the successful applicant.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • The successful candidate must be able to work independently.
  • Performing routine servicing of fire safety equipment and completing repairs on defective equipment or installing new equipment.
  • Inspecting smoke alarms in residential properties.
  • Inspecting and reporting on blind cords, window compliance and water efficiency.
  • Completing online reports when visiting properties.
  • Communicating with office staff in regard to work completed.
  • Travelling between properties all over Sydney and Greater Sydney.
