We are currently seeking Passive Fire Protection Installers to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the installation of a variety of passive fire protection systems, including:

  • Passive fire systems and fire rated treatments
  • Occasional installation of serviced penetrations and access panels
  • Testing & Audits
  • Reading specifications and interpreting plans for installation of new systems
  • Follow all WHS procedures
  • Demonstrate experience as a Passive Fire Technician or similar role.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of passive fire systems, including:
  • Fire-rated walls and fire compartments,
  • Fire- rated doors,
  • Fire Dampers, and Passive Penetration Seals.

Requirements:

  • A strong work ethic and a professional attitude towards site safety and compliance
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of Australian standards and regulations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to solve problems on the run
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team
  • Commitment to completing tasks as directed by supervisors
  • Demonstrate clear and precise communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reporting to the Service Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop further within the company
  • Trade qualification as an Carpenter or Cert 2 or 3 in Fire Protection a must.

Essential Criteria:

  • Current White Card (Construction Induction Card)
  • Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Previous experience in passive fire protection installation is highly desirable

This is a full-time role 38 hours a week with overtime with an RDO monthly
