We're now entering a high-growth phase and are looking for a NPD Team Manager to help lead this next chapter. This is more than just a technical role — it's an opportunity to be at the forefront of the next generation of skincare.

We're seeking a dynamic and scientifically driven NPD Manager to lead the development of cutting-edge cosmetic and wellness formulations. With a strong emphasis on microbiome-friendly and biotech-enhanced ingredients, you'll drive innovation from concept through to commercialisation. This role is pivotal in bridging formulation science with market-ready product development, working closely with internal teams and external partners.

• Lead and mentor a team of formulation scientists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing lab culture.
• Oversee the development of new cosmetic and topical formulations across skin, body, and wellness categories.
• Maintain hands-on involvement in complex formulations and troubleshooting when needed.
• Manage lab-to-launch processes including pilot trials, scale-up, and production transfers.
• Ensure rigorous testing protocols for stability, compatibility, and efficacy.
• Review and prepare technical documentation (PIFs, SDS, COAs) and support regulatory submissions (e.g. TGA, EU, ASEAN).

About You

You're a seasoned formulator with proven leadership experience and a passion for science-led innovation. You enjoy guiding teams while staying close to the formulation bench, and you're motivated by creating products that are effective, ethical, and future-focused.

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of formulation experience in skincare or personal care, including team management.
• Tertiary qualifications in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Formulation Science, or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of emulsions, actives, preservatives, and formulation stability.
• Experience leading teams in a lab or R&D environment, with a collaborative and empowering leadership style.
• Interest in microbiome science, biotech ingredients, postbiotics, or native actives.
• Bonus: Experience with scale-up, TGA submissions, cGMP environments, or CDMO partnerships.
• Excellent documentation and regulatory literacy.
• Commitment to sustainable and ethical product development.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for innovation.
