The Opportunity

We're seeking a proactive Recruitment / HR Administrator to support our busy operations for a 12-month maternity leave cover. Based in our Jandakot office, you'll support the recruitment and onboarding functions, ensuring compliance, and providing day-to-day HR admin support to our site and office teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including job ads, shortlisting, screening, scheduling interviews and pre-employment checks.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees including preparing employment documentation, IT access, uniform and inductions.
  • Manage compliance: right-to-work, licenses/tickets, medicals, D&A, inductions and VOCs.
  • Support mobilisations: bookings for medicals, inductions, flights/accommodation (as required).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases, ensuring all information is kept confidential and secure.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
  • Assist with ensuring HR compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Provide general and ad-hoc HR administration support where required.

About you

  • 2+ years' experience in recruitment coordination and HR administration (mining, civil or construction experience highly regarded).
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation and follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high accuracy
  • Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or a related discipline highly desirable.
  • Clear communicator with a helpful, solutions-focused approach.
  • Current Australian work rights (C-Class driver's license beneficial).
  • Proficient in MS Office – Outlook, Excel and Word
