Community Assist was established as an NDIS specific provider to support the people of Australia with disability to live independently in the community. Since its inception, Community Assist has grown to providing quality services to over 600 clients from 4 office locations across South Australia and Queensland.

We are seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our passionate, dynamic organisation where culture and wellness is our top priority.

What you would do:

The role of Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner is to deliver evidence-based strategies and person-centered supports that address the needs of the person with disability and the underlying causes of behaviours of concern, while safeguarding the dignity and quality of life of people with disability who require specialist behaviour support.

What you will have:

  • Bachelor degree in a relevant health related discipline
  • Experience in the disability sector is highly regarded
  • Knowledge and experience in the development of Positive Behaviour Support plans
  • Knowledge and experience working with clients with complex behavioural condition
