About the RoleWe are seeking passionate and values-driven Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our growing team. Whether you are early in your career or experienced, this role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality behaviour support while being part of a collaborative and supportive structure.
Flexible options are available – full-time or part-time employment, you'll be supported by an experienced PBS team, alongside a strong multidisciplinary network.
You'll also benefit from our clinical structure and layered supervision model, which includes:
- Supervision tailored to your proficiency level (e.g. weekly for Core practitioners).
- Senior practitioners to endorse Behaviour Support Plans.
- Monthly practice meetings with the PBS team.
- Monthly Allied Health team meetings across disciplines.
- Ongoing in-house training and development.
We'll also support you through the NDIS Proficiency Levels for career progression, and remunerate you according to your experience and stage of practice — so your growth is recognised every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA).
- Develop Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
- Provide consultation, coaching, and training to families, caregivers and support teams.
- Collect and analyse behavioural data to guide decision making.
- Ensure compliance with NDIS documentation and reporting standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver consistent, person-centred outcomes.
- Participate in supervision, practice meetings, and professional development.
- Tertiary qualifications in Developmental Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Eligible for registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., DEAI, AASW, AHPRA).
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed and person-centred practice.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Current Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Driver's Licence.
- NDIS Commission endorsement as a minimum 'Core' Behaviour Support Practitioner (or working towards this).
