About the role
Seeking an experienced Service & Install Manager to lead our installation and service teams. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality installations, timely service, and a strong focus on safety. You will be responsible for managing a skilled team of technicians, providing training, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards, including the Nominee Supervisor QBCC License requirements
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee service and installation teams, ensuring timely, safe, and professional project execution.
* Coordinate daily schedules, resources, and team assignments to optimize efficiency.
* Provide leadership and training to technicians, ensuring all work meets or exceeds company and industry standards.
* Ensure full compliance with QBCC licensing requirements.
* Oversee and enforce safety protocols on job sites, ensuring all team members follow safety regulations and best practices.
* Monitor customer feedback and resolve service-related issues promptly and professionally.
* Maintain accurate records, including job reports, invoices, and customer communications.
* Maintain a focus on customer satisfaction and ensure all installations meet high-quality standards.
* Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.
Skills & experience
* Proven experience as a Service & Install Manager or in a similar role within the garage door or construction industry
* A Nominee Supervisor QBCC License or the ability to obtain one.
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent knowledge of garage door systems, installation processes, and safety standards.
* Proven ability to manage safety on job sites, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
* Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
* Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel across Brisbane as required.
* Aptitude & willingness to learn
