The medium sized ANZ business, serves a wide range of process industries, providing engineered systems, products and services that optimise energy use and process performance.

As General Manager, ANZ, you will lead the ANZ business with full P&L accountability, driving growth, operational performance and culture. Reporting to Asia Pacific, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a respected engineering brand through its next phase of evolution — enhancing service capability, digital transformation, and customer value creation.

Key Priorities

  • Translate global strategy into a high-impact regional roadmap, accelerating growth in key areas such as customer sustainability, digitalisation, and services.
  • Lead, engage and develop a capable management team across Australia and New Zealand, fostering accountability, agility and collaboration.
  • Strengthen regional integration, leveraging synergies and shared resources across both markets.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, channel partners and APAC peers to achieve strategic and financial outcomes.
  • Champion continuous improvement and an empowered, performance-oriented culture that supports growth and innovation.

About You

You are an accomplished General Manager with a proven record of success in industrial or process engineering environments. Your experience spans direct sales to end users, OEMs, and capital equipment/energy projects, supported by strong capability in aftermarket sales and service. You understand how to build value through a direct sales model while also leveraging distributor or channel partnerships to extend market reach.

Your background likely includes:

  • Proven success as a General Manager or senior leader within a multinational or matrixed industrial organisation.
  • Direct experience leading sales and service operations in the process, manufacturing or energy sectors.
  • Depth in managing full P&L, strategy execution and organisational development.
  • Technical or engineering qualifications supported by postgraduate business studies.
  • Strength in stakeholder engagement, change leadership and driving growth through clear strategic focus and disciplined execution.
  • You are based in Sydney and able to travel domestically, with some international travel.
