Restoration Technician - Resto Rescue

Full-Time | Based in Carrum Downs | Growing Restoration & Makesafe Team

Resto Rescue is a fast-growing restoration and makesafe company trusted by insurance builders and commercial clients across Melbourne. We specialise in rapid response, high-quality workmanship and industry-leading reporting.

We are expanding our team and looking for a motivated Restoration Technician who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.


About the Role

You will be responsible for assisting with and completing a range of restoration, makesafe and remediation tasks, including:

  • Water & flood damage restoration
  • Mould remediation, antimicrobial treatments & ice blasting
  • Structural drying, dehumidifier setup & moisture mapping
  • Fire & smoke restoration works
  • On-site reporting with photos, detailed notes & scope documentation
  • Communicating professionally with insurance builders & insured clients

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in restoration, trades, construction, or maintenance (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication & customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • White Card (required)
  • Working with Children
  • Police Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Full driver's licence
  • Physically fit and able to work
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work after hours/on-call rotations when required
