With Australian operations now booming – we're looking for a powerhouse Enterprise Sales Executive to lead the charge in our growing Commercial & Industrial Division. You'll be the face of the business, driving major business development opportunities across the country, hitting ambitious revenue targets, and inspiring a talented Commercial sales team to deliver exceptional results. About the Role

This role is centred on driving the growth of the Commercial & Industrial business by taking ownership of sales performance, market presence, and long-term scalability.

In the first year, it requires a highly proactive, hands-on approach — being out in market, building relationships, securing high-value projects, and setting the tone for excellence. The focus is on hitting agreed gross profit targets at sustainable margins while laying the foundations for a sales operation that can scale as the business grows.

Beyond winning business personally, the position is about building and leading a high-performing team that exceeds targets. This includes fostering the right team chemistry, coaching and motivating individuals, and ensuring the business has the sales systems, processes, and culture to perform consistently. The role also involves acting as a senior point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring key customer relationships are nurtured at the highest level.

The scope extends to expanding mid-market opportunities in the $200k–$3M range, growing the large corporate client base, and leading major tender processes with cross-functional support from marketing, engineering, estimating, and delivery.

Collaboration is central — working closely with marketing to generate qualified leads and aligning with other internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Full ownership of the commercial sales P&L gives the role significant autonomy in resource allocation, allowing the flexibility to shape team structure, marketing initiatives, and personal involvement in high-value sales efforts.

Offering flexibility between home and office, the position can be based from either Abbotsford or Torquay offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead from the front in year one: roll up sleeves, be in market, meet customers, win work.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial sales strategy, focusing on business growth and long-term market expansion.
  • Drive lead generation and business development efforts to identify and secure new commercial opportunities.
  • Strategic accounts: act as a senior face for important customers, even if others manage day-to-day delivery.
  • Mid-market growth: develop the $200k–$3M project pipeline and expand our presence with large corporates.
  • Oversee and actively participate in tendering processes, ensuring successful bids for large-scale renewable energy projects.
  • Lead and mentor a small but established team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and professional development.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, government bodies, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of projects and customer satisfaction.
  • Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring the team consistently meets and exceeds business objectives.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in senior new business sales or BDM positions. Prior experience within the commercial energy, renewables, infrastructure, industrial or related sectors will be highly regarded.
  • A track record in tendering and contract negotiation, particularly in securing large-scale projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies that drive revenue and market expansion.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with experience engaging with C-level executives, government bodies, and commercial partners.
  • A results-driven mindset, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A passion for sustainability and the renewable energy industry, with a deep understanding of industry challenges and opportunities.
