**About the Role**:
We are pleased to announce an exciting 9-month fixed-term opportunity within our Asset Protection team. This role is crucial in ensuring that works carried out on or near our assets are performed safely, ensuring no harm comes to our associated contractors, the public, Water Corporation employees, or our assets.
This position is ideal for an individual with a strong work ethic, a relevant trade or engineering background, and sound communication and computing skills.
If you have experience working in an operational space in a large Utility, are trade qualified (eg: plumber/gas fitter), civil operator or graduate civil engineer you are strongly encouraged to apply.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Within this role your primary focus is to provide comprehensive asset protection services to the region, including Asset Protection Risk Assessments (APRA) and Clearance to Work (CTW). One of the keys to succeeding in this role is your ability to offer expert technical advice to internal and external customers, including Shires, Government Agencies, Contractors, Engineering, and Plumbing industry partners.
**Essential Skills and Experience**:
- Relevant Tertiary/Trade-level qualification or significant water and wastewater operational experience.
- Sound communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Sound computing skills and ability to use the Microsoft Suite.
