ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, you will become the face of the company, initiating and managing the marketing strategies of the business, to promote the professional services that has been the cornerstones of the company's success for some decades. Some of the key functions are as follows. ? Plan, develop, and organize targeted advertising policies and integrated campaigns to support the agency's sales objectives and promote travel packages, destinations, and services.
? Coordinate the end-to-end production of marketing campaigns, managing specialized functions such as graphic design, copywriting, scripting, video production, and media placement to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery. ? Analyse customer data to understand travel preferences, behaviours, and booking patterns, using insights to refine marketing strategies and personalize promotional efforts. ? Monitor and interpret current consumer trends in travel and tourism, providing forecasts to anticipate future market demands and traveller expectations.
? Conduct in-depth research into potential demand and characteristics of target markets, using statistical data to evaluate the viability of new travel products and services. ? Support agency growth by developing and implementing comprehensive marketing objectives, policies, and programs that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. ? Commission and execute research initiatives to identify and evaluate new and existing market opportunities for tourism products and services, enhancing the agency's competitive positioning.
? Provide expert advice on all marketing elements, including product offerings, pricing strategies, advertising tactics, promotional activities, sales techniques, and optimal distribution channels. ? Advise senior executives on advertising strategies designed to effectively reach target travel markets, create consumer awareness, and promote the unique benefits of tourism offerings.
- Preparing tour itineraries and issuing service vouchers for timely despatch to clients
- Liaising with suppliers and clients to ensure that tours run smoothly according to itinerary and required guidelines and standards
- Negotiating rates and booking terms & conditions with suppliers to maximise our company's margins
SKILLS & EXPEIRENCE To be considered for this role, you will bring. ? With relevant qualifications, at least 2 years' experience in an equivalent role (For example, relevant qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business or marketing)
