Willow & Blake is a Melbourne-based creative branding agency, bringing brands to life all over the world.

We're a small team but a hungry one. We don't come to work to do the bare minimum or churn out mediocre brands. We're here to do good work, great work; work that we are proud of. Over the last 15 years, we've built and scaled over $1 billion worth of consumer brands. Our specialty is in the beauty, health, fashion and wellness space. Alongside that, hospitality is fast becoming a key category for us. Which is good for our folio but even better for our stomachs.

In the past 12 months, here's a small example of the work our team has done:

-Rebranded a 150-year-old fashion brand

-Created iconic haircare brand Bouf from scratch

-Created a new secret brand identity for one of Australia's leading health brands

-Launched "For Scale" our business advisory program for consumer brands

-Presented campaign concepts that made our clients blush, laugh and cry (literally).

What you'll be doing:

This is a role for a strategically minded senior copywriter who is looking to own the brand creation process from end to end. All our jobs start with an insight, preferably a human one; turning this into an idea is where the magic lies.

Your job is to lead strategy and develop clever concepts that achieve our clients' goals, not stroke our own egos. This role is for someone who straddles the boundaries between brand and marketing as easily as they do the line between coffee one and coffee too many.

Your day-to-day will consist of:

  • Creating insight led, unique brand strategies
  • Naming and tone of voice development
  • Campaign ideation
  • Copywriting and creating content for various mediums, including website, packaging, script writing & social content
  • Writing long-form blog and web copy
  • Proofreading and reviewing work to ensure a high standard
  • Creating and implementing marketing and content strategies
  • Developing creative campaign strategies to drive the client's objectives
  • Collaborating with the design team on brand development.

What you bring to the table:

  • 7+ yrs experience within top-tier agencies or brands and a heavy strategic focus, turning insights into effective brand voices that work across digital, packaging, social, in store and campaign.
  • Proven experience in developing brand strategies, voice identities and campaigns from scratch with a folio of work to speak to.
  • Creative thinking: there's nothing scarier than an old idea.
  • Commercial thinking: there's nothing clever about an idea that doesn't convert.
  • Accountability: you're a strong self-editor who submits best-in-class work.
