The senior content writer will be responsible for producing and coordinating content for industries that include agriculture, coffee, logistics, food and beverage, manufacturing, mining, transport, waste and water.

Working closely with some of the world's leading businesses on topics such as sustainability, safety, and energy management, you will be adept at interviewing and leading meetings with prominent decision-makers.

This role involves a broad range of written content – articles, blogs, creative copywriting, industry papers and video scripts. It also involves the editing and production of one of our client's magazines. A foundation in journalism and experience working for a news publication is essential.

Project management skills are also important to this role, as it does not begin and end with writing content alone. Rather it involves the entire lifecycle of a campaign – which can include the concept, creation, and delivery of many integrated pieces of content.

You will be an enthusiastic team player, who welcomes the challenge of working on various topics, and the satisfication that comes with delivering content that hits the mark.

This position is open to applicants where our offices are located – Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney – and we support a hybrid working environment.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

·     A tertiary degree in communications – journalism preferred.

· years' editorial experience on a news publication.

·     Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to research, grasp and translate technical or complex material into engaging content.

·     High proficiency in using MS programs, especially Word and Excel.

·     A good understanding of digital content principles, including SEO and how to write engaging social media copy.

·     Strong time management and organisational skills to meet tight deadlines.

·     Project coordination skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

·     Client liaison skills to collaborate on campaigns and deliver content that meets their needs.

Other desired attributes (not required) include:

·     Experience in Adobe InDesign for editing publication content and Adobe Photoshop for simple photo editing.

·     Experience using a CRM such as Salesforce or Hubspot.
