The Opportunity
We are seeking a Billings Liaison Officer to join our Billings Hub Team at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital. The role is responsible for billing, accounts receivable, reconciliations, collections, reporting; to name a few. You will have outstanding communication skills where you will use your superior customer service skills, liaising with internal and external customers. You will be able to apply the Ramsay values whilst performing their daily duties.
Skills and Experience
- Previous accounts receivable experience essential
- Strong customer service skills by telephone and in person
- Knowledge of Health fund contracts and accounting processes.
- High level of computer literacy and advanced user in Microsoft programs and Meditech
- Experience in hospital mainframe systems
- Ability to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Knowledge of medical terminology (desirable)
- Relevant health services experience (desirable)
Remuneration
On offer is base hourly rate of $ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

- Must provide aNational Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
