**About the Role**
They are currently seeking a Customer Liaison Officer with Procurement / Purchasing experience to join their team in Macquarie Park. This is an estimated 6-month temporary assignment, with a strong potential to extend.

Reporting to the Manager, you will provide support, expertise and knowledge to deliver end user environment procurement practices and procedures to support operational and business requirements.***

**Responsibilities**
- Deliver professional customer service
- Answer enquiries within a timely and accurate manner
- Facilitate the resolution of customer complaints in a complex environment
- Validate stakeholder business needs
- Compile and source market information, analysing markets, mitigating risks
- Undertake sourcing activities
- Participate in negotiations and review supply arrangements that will deliver value for money procurement
- Provide advice and guidance on procurement related matters
- Generate reports on procurement and contract activity
- Manage and maintain records to ensure they are up to date and correct in Asset Management System
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures

**About You**
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- A strong customer service and service delivery focus
- High attention to detail
- Superior organisational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Solid analytical, negotiation, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite

**Requirements**:

- Call Centre or Shared Services experience essential
- Demonstrated knowledge of Procurement Shared Services
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
