Duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite and remote technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain scripts or small applications to automate IT tasks and improve support efficiency.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware systems, including operating systems, business applications, and peripheral devices.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to implement, test, and deploy custom software or internal tools.
  • Document technical procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps for both users and technical staff.
  • Assist in testing new software releases and system updates, ensuring compatibility and stability with existing infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance and respond to alerts, escalating issues as needed to maintain operational continuity.
  • Gather user feedback and provide insights to vendors for continuous software and support improvement.
  • Support network connectivity and basic infrastructure tasks, such as patching network cables or configuring printers.
  • Ensure security compliance on end-user systems, applying updates and assisting with antivirus or access control configurations.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient Troubleshooter – Skilled in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • OS & Tool Expertise – Hands-on experience with Windows/macOS environments and remote support tools like SCCM, RDP, and TeamViewer.
  • Networking Knowledge – Strong understanding of IP configurations, DNS, DHCP, and basic network connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Effective Communicator – Able to interact professionally with users, explain technical issues clearly, and provide excellent customer support.
  • Process-Oriented – Experienced in using ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) and maintaining accurate documentation for IT operations.
  • Security-Conscious – Adheres to IT policies, ensures data protection, and manages user access with awareness of compliance standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $76,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
