We are seeking a highly driven and ambitious Parts Interpreter to join the team in Dalby, Qld

Applicants are required to have an impressive attitude, a desire to achieve results and the ambition to succeed.  Must  hold a current driver's license.  Previous dealership experience will be highly regarded.

With excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as a basic automotive technical understanding will see the successful applicant join our friendly staff for an immediate start.

Key job functions & Accountabilities

Parts Interpreters carry out a range of duties related to selling Toyota Spare Parts, this including but not limited to:

  • Identifying parts and components
  • Consulting catalogues
  • Carrying out storage and stock control procedures
  • Materials handling
  • Guest advice
  • Receiving and filling orders for parts
  • Invoice preparation
  • Organising dispatch
  • Building and maintaining guest loyalty and support
  • Demonstrate behaviours that align with company policies, organisational values and The Toyota Way
  • Contribute to building a positive team spirit
  • Carry out reasonable duties at request of management
  • Compliance with company employee information & policy manual

Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience

  • Developed knowledge of the automotive industry
  • Guest service focused
  • Developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to work productively in an autonomous environment
  • Technical parts knowledge in the automotive field
  • Good organisational skills
