Yard Coordinator

We're looking for a reliable and motivated Supervisor to join our friendly team at Garden City Landscape Centre, a busy, well established, landscape supplies yard.

In this role, you'll be a key player in keeping the yard running smoothly. You'll work hands-on with the team, helping customers, keeping things organised, and making sure deliveries go out on time and in good shape. It's a role for someone who enjoys getting stuck in and taking pride in a well-run, safe and friendly yard.

What you will be doing

• Coordinate daily yard operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks
• Lead, train and support yard staff to maintain high standards of safety, service and presentation
• Schedule and oversee deliveries and collections to and from the site
• Monitor stock levels, place orders and manage inventory accuracy
• Ensure everyone on site has the knowledge and equipment they need to work safely
• Assist with rostering and task allocation
• Work collaboratively with sales and office staff to meet customer and business needs
• Maintain yard layout, signage and product displays for efficient access and visual appeal

What We're Looking For:

• Hold a Loader licence and Heavy Rigid licence (HR)

• Good communication skills and a customer-first attitude

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment

• Basic computer or phone handling skills for taking calls and entering orders

• Previous experience in a similar role or landscape/building supplies yard is a bonus
