Cloud Applications Support Engineer

12 Months Fixed Term Contract

$130k Incl Super + Attractive Package

Melbourne, Hybrid Working

We are seeking a skilled engineer to support application remediation, cloud readiness projects. You will play a key role in modernising legacy environments, providing application support, troubleshooting issues across on-prem and cloud platforms, and ensuring smooth transition of workloads into the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remediate and support legacy applications to enable Azure cloud adoption.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Working with database backend systems, API's and other integrations.
  • Conduct pre-migration assessments, testing, and post-migration validation.
  • Collaborate with architects, infrastructure teams, and vendors to deliver migration outcomes.
  • Provide Level 2/3 application support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years in application support.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, middleware, and integration points.
  • Familiarity with scripting, automation, monitoring, and ITIL processes.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification; cloud certifications highly regarded.
