About The Role
We are seeking a
Technical Project Coordinator
to support the delivery of large-scale technology programs within a complex enterprise environment. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams—including Operations, Engineering, Release, and external suppliers—to ensure technical projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant program, expand your technical coordination expertise, and work with a collaborative team driving transformation in critical industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation.
- Coordinate deliverables across technical teams and stakeholders.
- Track project progress, identify risks/issues, and escalate where required.
- Maintain project documentation including reports, change requests, and meeting notes.
- Schedule and facilitate project ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Manage action items and ensure timely resolution.
- Support the implementation of project management tools and processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and align with business objectives.
- Coordinate testing and deployment schedules with commissioning teams.
- Assist with budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation as required.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years' experience in technical project coordination or support roles.
- Knowledge of technical project lifecycles (Planning, Design, Implementation, Transition, Operate & Maintain).
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, SharePoint, MS Project).
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Basic technical knowledge (Networking, OSI layers, network operations).
- Experience in Defence or Telecommunications projects is highly regarded.
