Calling all Cooks/Chefs

We are looking for Experienced chef to join our amazing team at Degani Greensborough and Degani Coburg

Experiance kitchen skills required. cafe experiance is a mandatory.

Chef responsibilities include studying recipes, setting up menus and preparing high-quality dishes. You should be able to delegate tasks to kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner. Also, you should be familiar with sanitation regulations. If you have experience with advanced cooking techniques and non-traditional ingredients, we'd like to meet you.

Ultimately, you'll prepare and deliver a complete menu that delights our guests.

Duties includes :-

You will perform the following duties as required:Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.Washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipments, floor and everything as a daily closing duties and deep cleaning from time to time as and when told. Check quality of ingredients Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.Cook / prepare the provided menu items.Cook and season food according to recipes.Test foods before servicing in other to determine if they have been sufficiently cooked – methods employed for this purpose involves smelling, tasting, or piercing them with utensils.Get customers' orders and prepare food according to specification.Ensure that the equipment are always in the right condition, report to employer when any fault occurs.Maintain temperature record book.Perform other tasks as employer requires including
