About the Role

We're looking for a highly skilled, hands-on Building Supervisor with a strong carpentry background to take the lead on our new custom home builds. This is not a clipboard-on-the-sidelines role -we want someone who can problem-solve on the go, while managing trades and keeping the site humming.

One of our upcoming projects will require your direct involvement in carpentry, so you'll need to be just as comfortable on the tools as you are running the site. This role is ideal for an experienced carpenter ready to step into a leadership role, or a seasoned supervisor who still believes in getting their hands dirty to ensure the job is done right.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the team and set the standard for quality workmanship on site

  • Supervise daily site operations across high-end residential projects

  • Coordinate trades, deliveries, and materials

  • Ensure works are completed on schedule and to budget

  • Uphold safety, compliance, and quality standards at all times

  • Communicate clearly with clients, consultants, and subcontractors

  • Troubleshoot onsite issues with practical, timely solutions

  • Maintain detailed site records, including daily logs and progress reports

Skills and Experience

  • Licensed Building Supervisor (required)

  • Qualified Carpenter with a minimum of 5 years on-site experience (required)

  • Proven experience supervising custom homes and high-end renovations

  • Strong leadership and time management skills

  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods, codes, and WHS regulations

  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills, including computer skills

  • Valid driver's licence and White Card
