About us

O.S. Financial Planning is an established, small, professional team providing ongoing financial planning services to a long-standing client base.  We pride ourselves on the strong relationships we have with our clients.

We are looking for a person to join our firm to support our two Financial Planners.

The role

This is a diverse role with the successful applicant being called on to:

  • Manage the Advisors Diary & Correspondence
  • Set Up investment portfolios.
  • Maintain Client Databases.
  • Input to the Accounting System & Manage Payment systems in conjunction with the Practice Principal.
  • Follow up clients and investment managers to ensure required outcomes are achieved.
  • Undertake basic reception duties.
  • Lead special projects from time to time.

Qualities

The successful applicant needs to:

  • Be happy to work with and be part of a small, close-knit group.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of  Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Demonstrate an ability to be self-directed and self-driven in their day-to-day work.
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have a willingness to learn new things

A knowledge of MYOB Accounting and XPlan database would be seen as an advantage but not essential.

Ongoing mentoring and support will be provided as your build your knowledge on investments and procedures.
