Hills Grammar School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated educator to fill a temporary full-time position working as a computing and Technology Mandatory Teacher, covering a maternity leave for up to 12 months in 2026.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a school renowned for its outstanding professional learning culture and commitment to educational excellence. About the Role

You will be expected to:

  • Teach Technology Mandatory (Stage 4) and Stage 5 Design and Technology.
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based lessons that foster curiosity and innovation.
  • Collaborate with a passionate team of educators to design and implement cutting-edge STEM initiatives.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Be open to using and learning to use innovative technologies.

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate will have:

  • The ability to teach Technology Mandatory and Stage 5 Design and Technology
  • A current NESA accreditation to teach in NSW.
  • Strong knowledge of learning technologies and their impact on student outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Relevant tertiary and teaching qualifications.
  • A current Working with Children Check and Australian work rights.
