The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive Accounts Officer to take ownership across core accounting and admin functions in a hands-on environment. This permanent role offers a salary of $75,000 + super with genuine scope to add value. You'll support day-to-day processing, credit/collections, banking, and weekly payroll for a small employee group within a close, supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working within a small team, you will:
- Manage high-volume data processing and daily transaction accuracy
- Run weekly payroll for a small employee count
- Support AP/AR, credit & collections, and banking
- Maintain records and assist with reporting and ad-hoc finance tasks
- Provide general administration support (~20% admin / 80% finance)
About You
- Experience across accounts, credit/collections, payroll support, and admin
- Experience using an ERP system
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Thrives in a busy, team-focused environment
- Comfortable being onsite 5 days in a tight-knit business
