About the role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Full Time Bookkeeper/Accounts Officer to join our team at Mountain Trail RV. This role is perfect for someone with strong experience in Xero accounting software who thrives in a medium size business. You'll play a key role in keeping our financial records accurate and up to date & liaise with our accountant.

What you'll be doing

  • Full XERO management: accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations and super management.
  • Single Touch Payroll, payroll processing, superannuation reconciliations and year end finalisations.
  • Full function Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivables
  • Inventory receipting and reconciliation
  • Comprehensive understanding of balance sheets / profit & loss reports
  • BAS / IAS preparation
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve any invoice discrepancies or queries
  • Ensure all accounts payable processes comply with the company's financial policies and procedures
  • Provide support to the administration team as required

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in an bookkeeping or similar finance/accounts/administration role, ideally within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with experience in using accounting software Xero for a min. of 2 years.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Skilled in handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
