About the Company
FX Services Pty Ltd is a leading Australian wholesale distributor specialising in fire protection products and related equipment. Our Perth branch supports national operations through administration, logistics, and customer service. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Office Manager to oversee and coordinate office operations in our Bassendean office.
About Position
The Office Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative, human resources, and operational functions of the Perth office. The role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills to ensure efficient office operations and compliance with company policies and legislative requirements.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
· Contribute to the planning and review of office services, including setting priorities and office service standards.
· Allocate human resources, workspace, and equipment to meet operational needs.
· Assign work to staff and monitor their performance to ensure quality and efficiency.
· Manage office records and accounts, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
· Liaise with professionals and management to coordinate office business and resolve operational issues.
· Oversee office facilities, ensuring buildings and equipment are properly maintained.
· Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
· Ensure office operations comply with relevant legislation, company policies, and procedures.
· Coordinate personnel activities including recruitment, performance management, payroll processing, staff training, and supervision.
Skills and Experience Required
· Minimum one year of experience in the fire protection industry as an office management or senior administrative role.
· Strong organisational and leadership abilities with excellent attention to detail.
· Sound knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and office compliance procedures.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general administrative systems.
· Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and manage deadlines in a busy environment.
Qualifications
Completion of a Diploma or higher qualification in Business Administration, Management or a related field is desirable.
