**About the team**
The Town’s Corporate Services directorate covers a broad portfolio including finance and rating, customer services, information management and technology, procurement and children’s services (long day care centres). We actively collaborate with stakeholders to deliver exceptional services, sound financial management and good governance.
**About the role**
This role presents a great opportunity for an all-rounder to make a valuable contribution across various finance and administration functions, including:
- Responsibility for Accounts Receivable functions, including raising invoices for sundry debts, reviewing, and recovering outstanding balances.
- Managing Purchasing Card acquittal in compliance with Town policy
- Conducting bank reconciliations, processing journals, undertaking receipting and other finance functions
- Providing support for Accounts Payable, Rates, and Customer Service functions, including leave backup
- Assist in preparing monthly, year-end and ad hoc financial statements as required.
**About you**
- A minimum of three years’ experience, preferably in Local Government
- The ability to work autonomously under limited supervision with good time management and planning skills.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills.

**Salary and Benefits**
This permanent, full-time position attracts an annual salary of $85,616.61 - $90,391.86 per annum, plus superannuation.
The Town also offers up to 4% additional superannuation (conditions apply), 17.5% leave loading, free parking, ongoing training, and professional development, and up to two additional leave days per calendar year.
**Working Hours**
The position is full time, 76 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday. A monthly RDO can be negotiated with the Manager.
The Town supports employees having access to flexible working arrangements to help them manage work and life responsibilities. As flexibility means different things to different people, the Town has a range of flexibility options that may be negotiated.
