Departmental Administration Officer

Reporting to the Manager Planning and Environment, this position is responsible for providing high level administrative, project management and business support to the Manager Planning and Environment and the Department as a whole.
To be successful in this position, you will:
- Demonstrate the core values of Isaac Regional Council, with a high level of integrity and ethics;
- Possess the knowledge and skills in the delivery of high level administrative, project and governance support to technical teams in a local government context;
- Demonstrate high level skills in the use of computer systems and software in delivery of administrative and technical support services;
- Possess an interest in developing your knowledge and understanding of Council's role in delivery of its planning and environmental services to the Isaac community.
- Show the ability to lead an administration team in a fast-paced environment;
- Show the ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders;
- Show the ability to organise workloads, multi-task and meet competing deadlines;
- Show the ability to problem solve and develop processes and procedures that support business improvement.
If you are successful in this position, you will receive:
- Salary $90, $97,373.54 per annum
- Nominally 72.5 hours per fortnight
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
- RDO's in accordance with Council Policy
- Up to 14.5% super in accordance with Council Policy
