Melbourne's Luna Park is looking for energetic and passionate hospitality staff to join our events team in a casual position. We offer competitive rates of pay.

You will be required to wait food and beverages as well as the set-up and pack down of a diverse range of Events, from Corporate Christmas Parties to Family Days, Banquets to Cocktails, indoor Exhibitions to outdoor Music Festivals and even Weddings. This is a unique opportunity to join a wonderful group of people and the best atmosphere in all of Melbourne.

ABOUT YOU

You come from a banquet hotel/corporate events/bar background where speed efficiency and the ability to work multiple tables is paramount. You will be able to carry and clear heavy plates, pour wine, roll napkins, set up different room configurations.

You have the following skills and experience:

Experience in catering or event banquet service essential

Minimum 6 months of catering or event banquet service experience required

12 months bar experience in a busy environment desired

Able to carry trays of drinks, read an event order/run sheet and follow precise instructions for room set-up

Work in a team environment

Reliable, Punctual and impeccable grooming that would be expected in a corporate setting essential

Create great rapport with our customers through exemplary food service and knowledge

Ensure all equipment is handled, cleaned and stored properly

To be considered for this position you must:

Australian work authorisation required for this position

Be available for casual shifts every few weekdays and then most weekends in Mid-November and all of December. Able to nights as required.

Share our passion and commitment to providing an unforgettable experience to our guests

Current RSA certificate required

Required to wear black shirt, trousers and shoes. Aprons provided
