We are seeking a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant to join our team in Rainbow in a part-time hours/week) capacity

Classification: Leisure & Lifestyle Assistant - IN31 Grade 1

ABOUT THE ROLE/S:

  • In this role, you will make a meaningful contribution by providing a Leisure and Lifestyle Program for Residential Aged Care Residents in Rainbow, on both a group and individual basis.
  • Resident likes, preferences, existing community, and family involvement much be considered.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

  • Effective communication and organisational skills
  • Have a clear understanding of the Aged Care Standards pertaining to residents Leisure and Lifestyle.
  • Have efficient time management skills devoted to resident's personal lifestyle programs, outings, required documentation and planning.

Desirable, but not essential:

  • Qualification in Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent field.
  • Previous experience working in Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant position or field.
  • Competence in using computer programs including Microsoft Word, Outlook and electronic resident documentation system (iCare) and other databases.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to manage a diverse caseload

PRE-REQUISITES:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Fully vaccinated (including influenza) as per current Department of Health Directives.
  • Australian Driver's License
